Yeshas Chandra Aryal’s first solo painting exhibition entitled ‘Mind’ opened Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Nepal Art Council Babar Mahal. 

 
The exhibition was opened by commissioner of Valley Development Authority Keshav Sthapit. Opening the exhibition, Sthapit said, “Creator should get the peaceful place where they could enjoy with creation for this I will try to find out thus place which will be suitable.”

 ‘The New Faces of Tibet’ a paintings exhibition by Spanish artist Andrea López Iglesias has been being held at Siddhartha Art Gallery at Baber Mahal, Kathmandu, Nepal. Education Officer of Snow Lion Foundation Tenzin Rabgyal has inaugurated the exhibition on Friday, 11th May 2012.

Artist Khanal opens own Art Gallery

Senior artist Ramesh Khanal’s 27th solo painting exhibition ‘Arupan’ was held at his own house opening of Arupan art gallery in Lazimpat on 10th May 2012.

The exhibition and gallery was jointly inaugurated by Chancellor of Nepal Academy of Fine Art (NAFA) Kiran Manandhar and Managing Director of Barah Jewelery Indra Kumar Lamichhane.

No opportunity for Nepotism

Nepal Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) is going to organize 2nd National Art exhibition in the last week of Baisakh month. According to Chancellor Kiran Manandhar, Academy has been suffering from economic problem. NAFA has not adequate budget but a lot of plans. 

 
The previous exhibition was not well managed. About the weakness management of previous exhibition Manandhar accepts that and now, he has promised to make a successful and complainless.
